Has the longest running uk garage show on legal radio (fire 107.6 fm) once used to present a segment on tv show on the south coast called clubbed up used to work at a slaughter house and is a fully trained butcher

Biography

dj pencil started djing over 11 years ago playin at all the house parties that cropped up around that era , from there he went on to promote his own nights in clubs around bournemouth such as madisons , remix , and wiskeys,around 98 dj pencil started playing as a resident in room 2 of the legendary country club playing party tunes and club classics , thIs is where he heard his first garage tune , from there he never looked back , and started djing for the longest running garage night on the south coast called off the edge , joining forces with the promoter of the night he then started his own garage night in the biggest dance venue in bournemouth - "the opera house" called switch , on this night which was in room 2 every friday night he played with every top dj in his feild such as , ramsey & fen , artful dodger, tuff jam, dreem teem, ez, karl brown, stanton warriors this night was such a success that the owner of the club gave him room 2 at the massive slinky balls event , which had over 10000 people there , and over 2000 in his uk garage room , he went on to play at every slinky ball after that ,
from there he was offered various nights around the south coast djing in all the major venues gaining repect from other djs in his feild he began working on tunes with best friend and top producers appaloossa (cut up boys , logical progression, swankenstien) doing remixes for slinky records and other smaller labels , getting the remix for no1 club hit - tukan - light a rainbow gained him more remixes from slinky records , from there he went on to produce his own tunes with appaloosa and produced 6 records for pink pudding records , with one of them - "you dont know me" going into "ez's" chart at no1 for over a month dj pencil worked also with thte dreem teem on there tour along the south coast , and also got a job presenting a uk garage show on the south coasts no1 legal dance radio called "fire 107.6 fm" working and interviewing acts such as - miss dynamite , heartless crew, dnd, wideboys, matt jam lamont, dreem teem, jazzy jeff, fallacy & fusion, tubby t and many more, the show has been going form strength to strength and is now the longest running uk garage show on legal radio in the country.
