He has an extensive collection of cult classic movies.
Biography:
Jon has been an avid fan and collector of Soul/Jazz/Funk
for many years and been Djing for over 10 years.
Jon makes several trips
a year to the States to plough through original 45's &
LPs. He strongly believes in collecting the originals and
says, "nothing beats playing the real McCoy."
He first played at
basement bars in Guildford, teaming with KJ and Richie Jay
to form Connected Vibes. Holding a residency at Pews Bar for
over ten years, Jon has played sets at the Jazz Café
in Camden, London and on the other side of the Atlantic at
Buddha Lounge, Chicago as DJ support for Down To The Bone.
In the mid nineties
Jon promoted Stomped And Wasted with DJs such as Ian Clark,
also bands including Solid Sound Foundation & Family Fandango.
For a summer season
Jon held a residency at a bar in Crete. Alongside KJ, Jon
is reguarly booked at bars in and around Guildford alongwith
guest spots when requested.
