I'm trying to get into producing. I think that as a DJ I can guess what would sound good in a club
or on the radio so I am trying to put that into my beats.

Biography

I got into Jungle and Garage through my older brother but I wasnt old enough to go raving so I brought records. I got a paper round to buy my
first decks, some Citronic PD1s direct drive!! They werent the best but I worked on perfecting my mixes listening to people like Heartless Crew, EZ
and other crews on the radio.
I linked up with some man dem I knew from school and in the ends and started doing gigs; house parties small venues. We got a little rep and started doing a regular slot on Freek FM. That led to more raves. Unforceen circumstances lead to couple man parting ways but me and my two MCs kept doing our thing. we went to Ayia Napa in 2000 and made some good links with promoters and other DJs.
A year or so later I started working on a Sunday morning show as a DJ which upped my profile a bit. I was asked to come and speak to some people about possibly doing a show on a new black music station called 1xtra and the rest
is history!
I now do my own show on 1xtra Saturdays 12-2.
